Mental Health and Learning Disability Leaders Collaborative: Valuing Patient, Service User and Staff Time
October 16 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pmFree
The Mental Health and Learning Disability Leaders Collaborative is the quarterly national network to support the directors, managers, senior clinicians and lead officers of mental health and learning disability services, to provide accessible and equitable services to all those with mental health needs.
The collaborative aims to help drive implementation of Government policy, strategy for mental health and learning disability service improvement by helping to integrate policy and practice development by providing a vehicle for two-way consultation. In addition to a focus on good practice examples from across Wales, UK and internationally, we explore the leadership, development and change management agenda for senior professionals and managers of services.
This collaborative will focus the value of staff and service user time, it will examine how time not money or other resources, connects everything. It will also draw upon the lessons TODAY I CAN model as an enablers of change. It will also look at how we need to work co-productively, as well as how we support our staff to look after their own wellbeing in order to deliver compassionate care.
The Collaborative is sponsored by Welsh Government and is facilitated by the Mental Health and Learning Disability team in Public Health Wales, 1000 Lives Improvement.
Delegate spaces are free. Please note that registration for this event will close when we reach full capacity, or at 12pm on 2nd October 2019, whichever comes first. For additional information or booking assistance, please contact [email protected] or call 02920 104 347.
