A popular tourist destination on Anglesey, Newborough has faced growing traffic congestion and parking pressures as visitor numbers increased. The Gwynedd and Anglesey Public Services Board (PSB) took on the challenge through a place-based approach, bringing together member organisations, community representatives, local businesses and residents to tackle traffic management collaboratively. Regular drop-in sessions built trust and enabled informal dialogue between all parties, moving the partnership towards genuine involvement and co-productive decision-making that offers hope for lasting solutions to longstanding problems.
