Diolch Ruth!

Photo: Ruth Dineen

Many of you will know Ruth Dineen from her work at the Network.

Ruth co-founded what was to grow into the Co-production Network for Wales, back in 2012. She led on gathering signatures and statements of support for an open letter in May 2013, asking the then First Minister Carwyn Jones to commit to co-production in Wales. Since then she has tirelessly trained, facilitated, championed, advised, mentored, supported, cheered on (and done little dances!) in support of advancing the co-production agenda in Wales.

This year, after a decade of advocating for citizen voice and inclusion, and growing the community of practice to a point where it has a momentum of its own, she has stepped back to focus on other work which is close to her heart, as well as on being a granny.

We want to honour her contribution to the cause of co-production and involvement, celebrate her input and achievements, and acknowledge that the Network wouldn’t be what it is today without her. We would love to collect stories, anecdotes, memories and special messages from everyone who’s crossed paths wih Ruth, to collate and deliver to her in the autumn.

Please send a few words (as short or as long as you like) of celebration, appreciation, and thanks to diolchruth@copronet.wales – we will collate them into a HUGE card! Do it now and share what’s upmost in your mind when you think of Ruth… or by no later than 12th September 2022 please.

Thank you in advance for your contributions.
